WHAT IS IT?
The DoucheFLUX Magazine is a way to raise public awareness of the problem of extreme poverty. Far from telling sob stories, or publishing articles just to fill space, the magazine offers a window onto a largely unknown world.
The editorial team of the DoucheFLUX Magazine is made up of people living in precarious circumstances themselves, with volunteers looking after the coordination, correction and layout.
SUPPORT A PERSON LIVING IN A PRECARIOUS SITUATION BY BUYING THE MAGAZINE
Around 2,000 copies of the DouchFLUX Magazine are printed and are distributed across the whole Brussels Capital region by people living in precarious circumstances themselves. Sellers buy each copy at €0.50 and resell it for €2, in full legality. For many sellers, this profit makes up a large part of their revenue. To avoid competition with sellers, we never publish the latest edition on this site.
EDITORIAL RESPONSIBILITY
The DoucheFLUX Magazine is not a magazine by or about DoucheFLUX. Instead, DoucheFLUX enables the creation of each edition, and in doing so, empowers any person living in precarious circumstances to make their voice heard. Every text, illustration, or other contribution represents the opinion of the author, not that of DoucheFLUX.
OBJECTIVES OF THE SITE
This website was created to offer easy access to all the articles published in the DoucheFLUX Magazine since 2012. At the same time, since some Magazine authors are particularly prolific and write more articles than we can publish in the Magazine, this site lets us share unpublished articles by these authors.
